Boutique Hotel

Hospitality space design

This is a regeneration project of the surrounding area at the city centre of Kuala Lumpur due to lack of excitement around the site other than bad traffic issues and numerous high-rise office buildings.  The site needs to be attractive, interesting and also at the same time suitable for the target users.  The main purpose of this project is to create a better environment for the business workers or tourists who are traveling for work or leisure, allowing them to enjoy their stay in Malaysia with the vibe and the remarkable characteristics of the hotel’s design and style.

The design concept of the boutique hotel was inspired by a combination of Italian architect - Ettore Sottsass' design elements with the elements of high-tech architecture and bowellism.

It is a concept of revealing original structure, functional and technical components of the building within the interior space with designer inspired colours and patterns.

To introduce the diverse culture of Malaysia, curry plants and local curry cuisine recipes are displayed around the hotel's lobby to give the consumers a more interesting and alive living experience during their stay.
