Office space design
This project is a real-life project collaborating with one of the Malaysia’s leading construction group - IJM Corporation to design an innovation lab in their current office building. The client wants us to propose a space and a set of protocols for engaging young people, technologies, private sector, and civil society in problem solving. It is a space that is dedicated to visionary and outside-the-box thinking, gather people together to cross-pollinate, build-collaboration, develop solutions and integrate perspectives from different group of people.
The space is designed to be multi-functional and play around with the overall concept which is to connect technology and the fundamental of nature beauty into the interior space.
Research reveals that nature environment reduce stress, heals and soothes our body and mind and restore our energy. It gives human brain the state of "Soft Fascination" which our mind is completely at ease, taking in the scenery and at the good state to generate ideas.
This is because nature restores depleted attention circuits, which are believe to help out brain become more creative.
